Rev. Mark A. Pierson serves as our pastor at St. Paul’s. He also teaches courses on theology and philosophy at Concordia University Irvine, and is obtaining his PhD in New Testament studies. His writings have appeared in various publications, including Higher Things, Modern Reformation, and a handful of books. Before attending seminary, Pastor Pierson was a high school theology teacher in the Milwaukee area. He and his wife, Kelly, have three young children. In addition to the joys of family life, Pastor Pierson enjoys going to the beach, taking road trips, hiking, and reading.
